Little Things

This is my first poem that finally got published back in 2003. I am finally a published poet! This is new to me, letting people read my poems, so please if you leave a comment don't be to harsh, at least at first. You can leave a comment of criticism but be nice about it, please! Anyway, I felt I needed to let my light shine and share my talent with other people. My poems will not come all at once and may be awhile before I get another one on here but I will do what I can to get them on so you can read new ones more than once every 3 months. Hope you like it!

Little Things
It’s the little things that show me you care,
The smiles, the laughs, the good times we’ve shared.
It’s the smile on your face at the end of the night,
The look in your eyes when I say it’s alright.
It’s the way you comfort me when I’ve had a bad day,
The shoulder to lean on when you don’t know what to say.
The sweet sound of your voice when there’s tears in my eyes.
It’s every morning when you kiss me goodbye.
It’s the little things that show me you care,
The smiles, the laughs, the good times we’ve shared.
It’s the never ending feeling I get when we’re together,
The way it makes me feel I’m floating like a feather.
It’s every day and all of your love,
That keep going, floating like a dove.
It’s the little things that remind of your love
It’s the flowers, the hugs, and all the above.

You are my heart, my soul, my one true love!
